Environmental Protesters Interrupt US Open Semifinal Between Gauff and Muchova

Environmental protesters interrupted Coco Gauff and Karolina Muchova’s US Open semifinal on Thursday.

With Gauff leading 6-4, 1-0, three protesters in the upper section of Arthur Ashe Stadium caused a raucous. After two were removed, one glued his bare feet to the ground and it took authorities nearly an hour to clear the space, while players were ushered off court.
