DURHAM – Members of the Duke men’s tennis team will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., this weekend for the Wake Forest Invite.
The event kicks off Friday and continues through Sunday on the campus of Wake Forest University.
Eight Blue Devils are set to take part in the three-day tournament – Andrew Dale, Edu Güell, Michael Heller, Arturo Kam, Faris Khan, Connor Krug, Jake Krug, and Niroop Vallabhaneni.
Duke has two players seeded in singles action with freshman C. Krug and sophomore Dale coming in at second and third in the A1 draw. Güell will join C. Krug and Dale in the A1 singles draw.
In doubles action, Heller and Dale as well as Khan and Vallabhaneni are seeded second in the A1 and A2 draws, respectively. Güell and Kam will also compete together in the A1 doubles draw, while the Krug brothers will match up together in the A3 doubles draw.
