The 26th YWCA Carnation Golf Scramble attracted a record 29 four-player teams Friday on a beautifully sunny day at Tannenhauf Golf Club.
Teams played in a step-aside scramble, under the director of event chairman Leigh Mainwaring, who had help from committee members Kathy Stroia, Suzi Dennis, Jan Ossler, Sue Snode, Korena Pow, Staci Weimer, the YWCA board, and the staff at Tannenhauf. The Marlington golf teams assisted as bag boys and scorekeepers.
No one won managed a hole-in-one on No. 11, where Ted’s Auto would have donated.
